This year, Special Olympics Chilliwack‘s softball team participated in the annual Canada Cup International Women’s fast ball tournament held on the 4-5th July.
The games were held at softball city in Surrey. The team played in the friendship division against 3 other B teams from Special Olympics BC.

The BC SUMMER GAMES held in Abbotsford were a huge success for all who participated. There was at least 1500 athletes, along with coaches, volunteers, door attendants, security, chefs, transportation, all was top notch.

Swim season is here. We started our season on Wednesday the 9th of September, at one location this year.
Cheam pool at the old military base (advance swimming)
The swim time is 5:30 to 6:30pm

Power Lifting will be sending 3 athletes and two coaches to a Tournament in Vancouver on October 24th. Athletes attending will be Lisa Newell, Matt McKay and Janice Reid. Coaches will be Jo Newell and Arlis Howard. Good luck to all Participants
